Activity The Scottish Council for Educational Technology was formed in 1975, and incorporated the Scottish Film Council. The Scottish Council for Educational Technology provided technological educational resources for schools, further education establishments and the business community. Through training, consultancies and a range of software and other media it promoted the use of technology in developing new ways of educating and learning. In 2000 the Scottish Council for Educational Technology merged with the Scottish Consultative Council on the Curriculum (Scottish CCC) to form Learning and Teaching Scotland.
