Ardesier, Croy and Petty Nursing Association was constituted on the 24 May 1915 by authorisation of the County Nursing Association of Inverness with the object of nursing, as far as possible, all the sick in those parishes, with the exception of infectious diseases. The Association was funded by subscription and employed two nurses, stationed at Ardesier and Croy respectively. In 1951, following the National Health Services (Scotland) Act, 1948, whereby County Councils became responsible for the provision of domiciliary and midwifery nursing services, the Ardesier, Croy and Petty Nursing Association was wound up. The balance of account was presented to the Queen's Institute of District Nursing Pension Fund.
