Letters, manuscripts and proofs, 1911-78, of Christopher Murray Grieve (1892-1978) the author 'Hugh MacDiarmid.' The material, which was acquired at various times, reflects Grieve's literary rather than his political interests. They concern his life in the army during the 1914-18 war, his work as an editor, and, in particular, his own writings.
