Mrs Taylor was working on her book 'Renaissance France: a description' from about 1938 to 1948. It was never published although the possibility was considered both during and after her lifetime (see correspondence in MS 20433).

MS.20425 Printed reviews and articles by Rachel Annand Taylor, 1948-53. Most of these are reviews published in the Spectator and its Literary Supplement, but her articles on Gilles de Rais, published in Everyman 3 and 10 November 1933, are also included. 122 ff. 2

(i) Manuscript of 'Revised version of Poems (1904).' It includes all the poems in the published text with the exception of 'The Vanity of Vows', 'Ora pro me', 'Outworn' and 'Spring' (p.110). (f..1).
(ii) Typescripts of poems written between 1943 and 1954 and apparently transcribed from a MS autobiography (f.69).
