GD49/6 Notarial instrument of protestation, by Thomas of Allirdes [Allardice] to Walter Lindsay of Beufurde [Beaufort], sheriff of Aberdeen, against charges of spoliation of the lands of Balglassy pertaining to David Dempster of Auchterless and unjust detention of the rents thereof and against a decree under the Great Seal ordering repayment and seizure of his goods. Request by Thomas of Allirdes for a copy of letters under the Signet relating to the execution of the above decree and refusal by sheriff until King and Council could be consulted.
