'Field sketch containing Ellon, Eatin etc.' Unattributed. 1770 Scale not given. 400 x 515 mm. Ink. Annotated in ink. Both sides. Rough sketch plan of Allain [Ellon], and Eaten [Eatin], near Carn an Allain [Carn Ellon]. Common moor and pastures shown. Location of woodlands noted. Cairns, a former village, hillocks, springs, and bushes noted. Heavily annotated with information relating to the quality of the land, the acreage of various areas, and owners' and tenants' names. |
