Description |
'A plan of farms of Garlogie, Burrel Ley and Mill of Air, &c lying in the parishes of Skene and Echt, and county of Aberdeen, belonging heritably to George Skene Esquire of Skene. Drawn from an accurate suvey taken anno 1789 by Alex[ande]r Milne.' By Alexander Milne, landsurveyor.
1/4 inch = 100 links (in Scots chains of 74 feet.) 1130 x 1045 mm on sheet 1140 x 1010 mm. Coloured. Graphite annotations. Linen flap.
Estate plan coloured to show farm boundaries. Names and acreages of fields, mosses and muirs. Steadings noted. Names of adjacent lands. Table of contents giving acreages of infield, outfield, pasture, muir and moss. Title within scrollwork cartouche with floral decoration. Compass rose. |
