Description |
'Plan of the common of Turnhouse Hill'. By Ja[me]s Knox [1:5400] 1 inch = 6 Scottish chains. 517 x 378 mm. Hand coloured. Engraving. Linen backing. Division of commonty plan with disputed areas coloured. Logan House, Marchwell public house, Head Stone which marks the field of battle of Rullion Green (Pentland Hills), 1666. Adjoining landowners named. Compass rose. Note 1: 'Edin[bu]r[gh] 30 June 1810 this is the plan referred to in my Deposition of this date. (signed) James Knox. A Coventyr Cr'.
