No scale. 371 x 224 mm. Ink. Watermark: crown, horn and 'GR'. No compass rose but directions noted.
Sketch plan showing disputed drains and ditches at the muirs of Muirhouses and the Mill of Aith, parish of Errol, Perthshire; Cottar town where water gathers; disputed drain draining to east; and higher and lower ground. Beside the South Road 'The water from Muirhouses comes by this ditch & down the march ditch betwixt the muirs.' Noted are the pow or mill tract; Muirhouses; ford or watering place; P Hills muir; infields or allacres of Muirhouse and Aithmuir; orchard and orchard ditch; roads; mill, bridge, kiln and houses at Aithmuir. Reverse: 'Sketch of the ground of Muirhouses and Aithmuir produced by P Greenhill 1783.' |
