Description |
'Kevock Mill'. By J & A Leslie & Reid, civil engineers, 72A George Street, Edinburgh. [1:1600, 1: 1600, 1: 160 and 1:72] 1 inch = 2 [imperial] chains, 1 inch = 133 feet, 1 inch = 13 feet and 1 inch = 6 feet. 990 x 654 mm. Ink and colour wash. Colour on reverse. Compass rose. Tracing linen. Plan and sections of Kevock Mill, Midlothian and plan and elevation of railway bridge there. Plan shows river, buildings, railway, line of flood mark and position of sections. Cross-sections of river, river and garden, mill lade, tail race and longitudinal section of river showing flood levels, level of water in pond, sluice wall, bridge and rails, mill lade, flood level on wall of machine room and top of weir. Plan of railway bridge at water level showing posts and spurs between old abutments. Elevation of railway bridge level of water and level of rails. |
