Description |
'Plan of part of the Coal Workings of Bannockburn'. By Alexander Shepherd, surveyor.
[1:1200] 1 inch = 100 feet. 440 x 460 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing.
Plan of part of coal workings coloured to show chains of walls and marchs round the Earl of Dunmores property. Line of wall face as said by Mr Thomson, day level line and downset line marked. Engine pit and old gen marked. Note: 'Dunmore Harbour Dec[embe]r 14th 1778. This Plan is agreeable to our survey, Information & report of the 8th 9th & 14th Current. (signed) Andrew S Young.
