Plan showing route of railway through Inverkeithing parish and the detached part of Dunfermline parish. Line via Inverkeithing, Jamestown, and North Queensferry shown. Parish boundary, limit of deviation, harbour, foundry, and Craigdhu Villa noted. Inset plan and section of pier at North Queensferry. Section showing levels. Cross sections showing inclinations of present roads and inclinations of roads after alterations. Note: 'Dunfermline 30th November 1872. There was within the Sheriff Clerks' Office there deposited with me the foregoing 'Plans and sections of proposed Dunfermline and Queensferry Railway 1872 consisting of three sheets and having annexed thereto a published map, with Gazette Notice and Book of Reference in terms of the standing order of parliament - and that between the hours of nine and eleven forenoon, and which were then and there duly sealed up by me - also there were deposited for public inspection a full double of said plans & sections, map & gazette notice & book of reference.
