[1:10,560] 6 inches = 1 mile. 450 x 484 mm. Printed. Hand coloured. Linen backing. Embossed with Secretary of State for Scotland's stamp. Compass rose.
Plan of the land use in the area around Kirkconnel. Areas coloured to show industrial, business, shopping, and residential use. Roads, railways, schools, public spaces, coal works, sewage works, gas works, woodlands, agricultural land, non cultivable land, and areas of water noted. From series of Development Plans for Dumfries County, based on Ordnance Survey plans. Note: 'Gross population: 1300. Approx. area in acres: 22.'
