Description |
'For the Paisley School Board'. By William Stewart, architect, Glasgow. 3/16 inch = 1 foot. 532 x 743 mm. Ink. Annotated in ink and graphite. Linen backing. Plan of glebe. Section marked with red boundary lines and acreage given. New and original streets marked. Note 1: 'This is the plan referred to in the Minute of Agreement between the Reverend James Cameron Lees D.D. Minister of the First Charge of the Abbey Parish of Paisley and Thomas Coules Esquire Thread Manufacturer Paisley Chairman of the school board of the Burgh of Paisley signed by the said parties of even date herewith in witness whereof they have subscribed this drequit at Edinburgh the fifth day of December Eighteen hundred and seventy three before these witnesses Thomas Merchant ... Paisley and Charles Baxter writer to the signed Edinburgh (signed) Thomas Merchant, witness. Charles Baxter, witness. James Cameron Lees, D.D. Thomas Couts'. Note 2: 'This is the Plan referred to in the feu charter granted by the Rev James Cameron Lees D.D. Minister of the First Charge of the Abbey Parish of Paisley with consents therein mentioned in favour of the school board of Paisley signed by the said Reverand James Cameron Lees and others of the dates mentiones in the testing clause appended to this docquet. ... whereof this docquet has been subscribed by the whole parties to the said Rev Cameron as follows ridilicet by the Reverand James Cameron Lees and by Andrew Millar at Paisley the twenty fourth March eighteen hundred and seventy five before these witnesses James Millar writer in Paisley and William Campbell Clerk to Millar Walker and Miller writers there.
