'Burgh Dunoon. Plan showing position of bathing stations.' By James Andrew, Burgh Surveyor, Dunoon [1:2400] 1 inch = 200 feet. Ink. Annotated in ink. Tracing linen. Stamped 'Justiciary Office, 15 Aug 1906.' Plan of Dunoon seafront showing the East and West Bays, Shore Road, Pier Esplanade, and Bullwood Road, with other streets extending inland. Pier, Castle Gardens, positions of Gentlemen's and Ladies' bathing stations shown. HWMOST [High Water Mark of Ordinary Spring Tides] noted. Note: 'Signed with reference to the minutes of meeting of registration of the burgh of Dunoon [...] 16th June 1906 fixing the places at which persons shall bathe.' |
