Description |
'Plan of part of the lans of Drummochreen extending to 62 acres, 2 roods, 14 falls. The coals of which Kennedy of Drummillan has sold to Mr Kennedy of Dunure.' By Alexander Paterson, surveyor. [1:1800] 1 inch = 2 Scots chains. 650 x 565 mm. Ink and colourwash. Annotated in ink and graphite. Linen backing. Compass rose. Plan of the lands of Drummochreen showing the Dalquharran Coal Works, the turf dyke (being the south boundary of the coals disposed of), Houses at Glenwell, Carscull, Readingfoot, and Dubs, and the whins and old coal pits.
