'Plan of Dams and Aqueducts in dispute between Messrs Ro Stein and Co and James Scott, feuar in Kincardine, situated upon the estate of Kincardine'. By William Forrest, surveyor. [1:2700] 1 inch = 3 Scottish chains. Ink and colour wash. 812 x 1258 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Plan of lands between Peppersmill dam and River Forth showing mills, leads and aqueducts including Tullieallan and Mutars of Tulliallan mills. Dams, coal pits, distillery, ropewalk, old engine, roads and toll bar noted. Buildings include Kincardine village, Kirkbrae, church, manse, Blackhall, Crosshill (Corsehill), Windyhill, Hillhead, Burnbrae, Roanhead, Inch House and ruins of old church. Names of lands and owners. Relief by grey wash. References. |
