[1:240] 1 inch = 20 feet. 459 x 272 on sheet 302 x 486 mm. Ink and colour wash. Area of plot sewn on.
Street plan of Dumfries, showing Assembly Street and High Street and two properties between the smithy and Mr Nicolson's cabinet shop and Mrs Moor's property. Pavement, proprietors' names, shops, and street names noted. Reference describes the level of Dr Laing's window 'soal' [seal or sill]. Paper illustrating property between Dr Maxwell and Mr Beck's properties, probably including Dr Laing's house, missing. Similar plan at RHP81846. |
