Description |
'Plan of Bonhill Cemetery showing arrangement of lairs'. By James Wilson, civil engineer, Greenock. 1 inch = 30 feet. 705 x 950 mm. Ink and colour wash. Tracing linen. Plan of the cemetery with lairs marked. Sections marked with letters and listed in table with number of lairs per section. The boundary of the cemetery is marked in red and the land to be sold in light red. Note: 'Dumbartonshire 20th August 1889. This is the Plan referred to in Deliverance of the Sherriff Substitute of Stirling, Dumbarton and Clackmannan of this date on Petition of Alexander Harrice Lindsay, Inspectior of Poor of the Parish of Bonhill on behalf of and representing the Parochial Board of said Parish for authourising to sell certain portions of Cemetery presently classed as common ground and for other purposes (signed) William Gibb'. |
