'Plan of the Lands of Knowhead & Roads with the Places Adjacent'. Engraved by D Lizars. No scale [c 1:5000]. 300 x 512 mm, on sheet 342 x 532 mm. Hand coloured. Engraving. Linen backing Plan of roads beside Forth and Clyde Canal showing toll bar, drawbridge, locks and site of former lint mill. Knowhead houses, Easter Seamore, Nethertown, Loanhead, meeting house and barley mill noted. Inclosure and wood shown. Explanation. Part of Falkirk parish south of Bonny water included. |
