Description |
'Sketch of the salmon fishing ground at Burghead and Roseisle shewing the line submitted by the Defenders as a settlement of the Disputed march'. By H. M. S. Mackay, land surveyor, Elgin. [1:2400] 1/2 inch = 100 feet. 933 x 626 mm. Ink and colour wash. Tracing linen. Linen backing. Plan of the fishing grounds. Lin of March Dyke between Burghead and Roseisle produced, alternative line proposed by the defenders dividing equally the disputed ground and the line claimed by the Crown all marked. Buildings in town of Burghead noted. Mr Young's nets, chemical works and railway station all named. |
