'St Andrew's Cathedral. Plan showing the walks proposed to be laid out in the burying ground'. By William Nixon, Office of Works, Edinburgh. [1:800] 1 inch = 1 Imperial chain. 532 x 568 mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Plan of the cathedral and churchyard showing the proposed new walks. Colours used in plan explained in references. Note: 'M Andrews 11th November 1844. This is the plan referred to in Disposition and Assignation by me in favour of the Commissioners of Woods and Forests &ca of this date. (signed) John Stirling'. Compass rose. |
