1 inch = 5 [Scots chains]. 52 x 71 cm. Ink with graphite annotations. Edge bound in green silk. Linen backing. Wooden batons.
Farm plan showing field boundaries. Field names, numbers and acreages. Names of adjacent lands. Buildings noted. Table giving field names and acreages. Note (on detached sheet): 'Plan of Humby by Arch'd Schaw. Done about the [-] year 1720 or soo[n] after. The new fences made by the Reids th[e] [-] . The whole contains nearly 500 acres in [-] or rather there ought to be a new sw[-].' |
