Description |
'This sheet contains sections of all the artificial works at Tongueland (except the west Abutment of the Meikle Douch which could not be measured owing to the state of the River) drawn to a large scale in order to their being better understood. The red marks at each Section apply to corresponding marks upon the Plan of 10th Nov[embe]r 1797 as expressed in a note upon upon said plan written with red ink'. By John Gillone, surveyor.
Scale 3/16 inch = 1 foot. 428 x 546 mm. Engraving. Annotated in ink and graphite. Linen backing.
