Description |
'Plan of the line of March which divides the property and commonty of the Burgh of Aberdeen from the Barony of Pitfoddels, corresponding with contract dated Jan[uar]y 5th 1610, surveyed Jan[uar]y 1808.' By [Colin Innes],surveyor and D Lizars, engraver. Scale 5/8 inches = 5 Scots chains. 565 x 532 mm. Hand coloured. Engraving. Attached literary photoreproduction. Linen backing. Plan coloured to show the ground in dispute between Aberdeen and Pitfoddels. Explanation below the plan detailing what all the coloured lines and letters indicate. References, in explanation of the letters and lines put by the defender on the plan, are attached. Table of contents giving the area of the land in dispute and the loaning. Roads coloured and named. Compass rose. |
