'Scheme of the Lands of Hartenhill: Survey'd Calculated and Divided Anno 1740 by John Wilson.' By John Wilson, surveyor.
Scale statement 'The Scale of 1/4 of an Inch to two Chains or 140 Feet.' 537 x 759 mm. Ink and colour wash.
Plan prepared for a dispute concerning the land. It shows a series of enclosed parks with hill ground behind. Landmarks on the boundaries such as stones and burns are noted. Features include roads, rivers, buildings [houses] and enclosures. Has key and explanation. Compass arrow. |
