Description |
'A plan of the lands of the Bought belonging to William Fraser Esquire'. By G Rodgers, surveyor, Inverness.
Scale [1:3600] 1/4 inch = 1 chain. 536 x 755 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotations in ink.
Plan coloured to show part of the lands of Killmillies. Farms names and dimensions given. Elevations of buildings. The River Ness, hills of Tommahurich and Torvan and the common county road from Lochend to Inverness all named. Table of contents giving the breakdown of the area in acreage of arable, garden, bleachfield, pasture to be enclosed old run of the iron miln, pasture ground of Bleachfield croft, Hill of Torvain and Loch.Names of adjacent lands. Compass rose. Note: 'Inverness 14th Oct 1784. This is the plan refered to in the deposition of Simon Fraser Esqr. of Farraline of this date and as such the same is signed by him. Commissioner and clerk as relative (signed) Simon Fraser Wm Chisolm cr. Alex R. Mackenzie, clerk.' |
