Description |
'Plan of the proposed rail way from Climpy to Shotts Iron Works'. By John Lauder, surveyor. Scale 1/8 inch = 1 chain. Various scales for section. 682 x 474 mm. Hand coloured. Engraving. Plan coloured to show new railway, the Line Road and the Shotts Company railway. Lands of Climpy, Mulron, Headlesscross, Knowtoun and Shotts Company noted. Climpy House and quarries, Headlesscross buildings and Shotts Iron Works all marked. Compass rose. Section of the proposed railway showing banking and cutting required to lay the track. Black and white feint impression of plan on reverse. |
