Description |
'Drumbrek No 2 Pit. Tracing showing S.W. Section of Haughrigg Coal Workings. Position where William Lindsay was found marked thus [red circle with red cross inside].' By [-] Twechar works, Kilsyth Scale [1:1600] 3/4 inch = 100 feet. 1039 x 844 mm. Lithograph. Diseccted into two parts. Tracing linen on linen backing. Mining plan coloured to show the boundaries of S.W. section. Drumbreck pits 1 and 2 noted. Boundaries are marked with date twhen the seams were opened either 17th or 18th April 1901. Tunnels within the pit are marked. Position where William Lindsay was found injured marked. |
