Description |
'Plan A. Lands of Milngavie Field, the property of James Glassford Esq. of Dougalston.' By James Shanks, surveyor. [1:900] 1 inch = 1 Scots chain. 368 x 516 mm on sheet 398 x 550mm. Ink and colour wash. Linen backing. Plan of Milngavie field, showing three numbered plots between Allander Water and the road from Cheapside, the road from Milngavie to Glasgow and Mill lands. The site of Messrs Black and Co. Works is noted as is the direction of flow of the river. Tables of contents give acreage for each plot in Imperial and Scots measures. On reverse plan signed as part of contract between James Glassford, Esquire of Dougalston and Messieurs John Black Company Merchants and Printers in Glasgow. See RHP5380 - 'Plan B'. |
