Description |
'Sketch of the Shealings belonging to Lude with a view of the adjacent Grounds'. Unattributed. [1:42,240] 1.5 inch = 1 mile. 438 x 337 mm, on sheet 513 x 416 mm. Hand coloured. Engraving. Linen backing. Map showing shielings on lands of Lude east of Fender Burn to Glen Loch including Aldanerg, Rienaguie, Lecknadillaird, Strondias, Riechullin, Rienacloich, Rienahelrig, Aldvialich, Aldnaherry, Craggangorm and Shinigag. Ruins of church of Lude, Chapel of Kilmavonaig, Lude House and Bridge of Tilt and Blair Atholl villages noted. Adjacent lands of Duke of Atholl, commonty of Glen Tilt and forest of Benchrombeg indicated. Relief by hachures. |
