'Reduced plan of the estates of Corsewall'. Engraved by W & D Lizars, Edinburgh. [1:22,350] 1 in = 25 Scottish chains 40 x 29 cm Plan coloured to show the farms of High and Laigh Portencalzie, North and West Balscalloch, North and South Losset, Milton, Clachan, Corsewall or Fine View, Knockoid, Mahaar, Ardwell, Auchleach, Portmullen, North Park, Damhouse, Barnhills, East and West Kirkbryde, Balgown, Cairnbowie, Knockneen, Knocktimn, North and South Cairn, Airdrie and Five Shilling Land. Acreages of arable, pasture, meadow moss and roads noted for each farm. Steadings, cottages, Kirkholm village called Stewarton, kirk, glebe, roads, plantations, moss, streams, Loch Connel and coastline noted. Relief by hachures. Table dividing estates into three lots for sale gives farms, acreages, names of tenants, date of expiry of leases, existing yearly rental, estimated yearly value on expiry of leases, and dedudctions for 'Short Rents, Tenants Lives and Currency of Leases', and general information concerning the estate. Adjacent lands named and Sir Stair Agnew as an adjacent proprietor. |
