By John Gillone [1:5400] 1 in = 6 Scottish chains 96 x 103 cm Plan showing infield-outfield lands numbered. Farm boundaries, arable, moss, steadings, houses, crofts, roads, lochs including Whitefield Loch, Loch Robin and Castle Loch, streams, and springs noted. Table of contents headed, 'No index got from Mr Adair with this plan but the extents stated in the particulars of his land for sale were as follows' and then gives totals for each farm. Coloured. Relief by brush strokes. Adjacent lands and proprietors named including Earl of Dumfries, Earl of Stair, Captain Dalrymple of Dunragget, Mr Johnstone and Major Ross. |
