'Sketch and section of proposed road thro' Craigcaffie, Braid, Beoch, Dilhabboch, Eyes and mark joining the road from New Luce to Shinnas between Mark houses and Shinnas'. By John Emslie [1:3000] 1 in = 250 ft 248 x 50 cm Plan, RHP4542/1 of proposed road running north-east from Craigencaffie farm numbered to correspond with a table on RHP4542/2 giving distances, rise and fall, and cubic yardage of banking and cutting required for a road 16 ft wide. Old Bughts of Braid, Bughts of mark, Steading of Mark, marches, Pilwhirn Burn and streams, Brigs of Dalhabboch, part of existing path and three alternative routes for proposed road near mark noted. Longitudinal section showing numbers noted, level of proposed road, distances, and amount of banking and cutting required. Relief by brush wash. Coloured. |
