'Plan of Lord Moray's lands in Alves, situated to the south of the Highland Railway, shewing the marches agreed upon with the lands of Monaughty and Mosstowie belonging to Lord Fife.' Surveyed by H M S Mackay. [1:3200] 1 inch = 4 Imperial chains. 715 x 528 mm. Ink and colourwash. Linen backing. Compass rose. Plan of the lands and marches. Tenants and farms named: Wards of Alves - George Sim; Clash Brae - John Watson; Easter Cloves - James Falconer and William Anderson; New Alves - Robert Royan and John Fraser. Also noted are properties of Donald Fraser, Charles McKay, and Margaret Brown. Roads, streams, and field boundaries shown. Neighbouring properties named. |
