'Lands of Orkie Mill, Hollkettle and Dams, the property of John Thomson, Esq'. By John Donaldson, Dunfermline.
[1:1800] 1 inch = 2 Scots chains. 800 x 1910 mm. Ink and colourwash. Linen backing. Compass rose.
Plan coloured to show farm boundaries. Fields numbered to correspond with a table of contents which gives acreages and name if any and also acreage of feus and feuars' names. Steadings, cottages, manse and chapel, mills, bleaching greens, trees, Eden Moor, streams and roads noted. Adjacent lands and owners named including J Balfour and Major Arnot. Decorated with flowers. |
