Plan of Dykehead farm coloured to show the underground splint coal and ironstone workings. Pits, bores, slips, faces with dates of working, dates when whole areas worked out, supposed extent of mining under clay roof, Whiterigg coal working, Airdrie burn, roads, Ballochney Railway and buildings noted. Adjacent lands named. Endorsed ' Glasgow 10th March 1847. Referred to in my deposition of this date as a haver In Causa Thomsons Trs. v William Dixon and Co Mansfield Grieve.' |
