'The Village of Longforgan for sale by Public Auction by Messrs Scott & Graham Ltd within the Royal Hotel Nethergate, Dundee on Tuesday, 18th day of March 1919, at 3 p.m immedietly after the Sale of the farms on Castle Huntly Estate'. Solicitors are Messrs Williamson, Watt & Co, S.S.C. 9 York Place, Edinburgh. Auctioneers are Messrs Scott & Graham, Limited 19 Hgh Street, Dundee. . 337 x 208 x 3 mm. Printed. Bound. 18 pages (including small insert of details of Castle Huntly). Printed booklet giving conditions of sale and detailed description of lots for sale as shown on RHP4401/3. Details of acreages and annual rentals for plots and the whole village. Photographs showing views of Castle Huntly and the other plots with buildings. Leaflet inside back cover giving details of the history of Castle Huntly. Insert note attached to page 1: 'Since these particulars were prepared the Board of Agriculture for Scotland have ourchased Lots 1, 13, 14, the land in lot 15, Lots 16 to 20, the land in Lot 21, and Lots 22 to 24 for the settlement of Discharged Scotch Sailors and Soldiers'. |
