'Sketch of the parish of Cupar'. Drawn by D Miller. Lithographed by W Ballantine, Edinburgh. [1:12,700] 1 in = 16 Imperial chains 74 x 50 cm Dertailed plan of the united parishes of Cupar and St michael coloured to show the boundaries of the parish and burgh of Cupar. Burgh of Cupar with street pattern and parish church, lots near the burgh with owners' names, farms and large houses with owners' names, fields, steadings, village of Springfield, trees, rivers, fords, bridges, mills including Cupar Mills, Tarvit Mill and a spinning mill, mill leads, roads and toll bar noted. Table giving population, number of houses, and number of houses of £10 and upwards in the burgh with the total assessed taxes. Table giving 'State of the Valued Rent' as at 1825 with names of 38 heritors, lands and valued rent in pounds Scots including the town of Cupar, James Balfour Wemyss of Wemyss, James Home Rigg of Dounfield, Colonel Don of Springfield, George Russell of Pitbladdo, Robert Swan of Prestonhall and Peter maitland's trustee.
