No title. Surveyor unattributed. 2½ inches = ¾ mile. 425 x 537 mm. Ink and colour wash. Compass indicator. Plan of part of Walcheren showing British and French military positions. Flushing, Rutten, East Zouburg, West Zouburg, De Boede and Old Flushing noted. Roads, churches, town walls and other buildings shown. British military units identified. Presence of gun boats and gun briggs shown. Note (on reverse): 'Siege of Flushing transmitted by Lt Genl Brownrigg from Head Quarters, Middleburg, August 16th 1809'. |
