'Mauldslie Castle Estate between Lanark and Glasgow, Lanarkshire' [1:4200 and 1:2000] 1 inch = 350 feet and 1 inch = 167 feet. 760 x 545 mm. Lithograph. Hand coloured in ink. Compass rose. Linen backing. Estate plan reproduced from Ordnance Survey coloured to show numbered lots of the Mauldslie Castle Estate for sale by auction including Mauldslie Kennels, Mauldslie Mains, Jock's Gill Wood, Mauldslie Cottage, old quarries, Tod Burn, Mauldslie Bridge, the site of St Luke's Church and Cistercian Abbey and Haugh Hill. Inset enlarged plan of Rosebank showing lots for auction there. Part of Dalserf parish around Rosebank shown. The estate was to be auctioned by Messrs John D Wood and Co, London and J and J Marshall, Carluke and Wishaw. Solicitors for the sale were Messrs A and P Deas, Duns, Berwickshire. |
