'The Firth of Forth opposite Tulliallan estate showing the line of proposed embankment'. By James Thorne [1:3600] 1 in = 300 ft 140 x 61 cm Plan of part of the Firth of Forth near the town of Kincardine showing the line of two proposed embankments and acreages of the land which would be reclaimed. Existing embankment north-west of Kincardine showing acreages and ditches, depths of mud inarea to be reclaimed on north shore, Kincardine town with piers and town houses, farms of West Carse, Hawkhill, and Inch, commom sewer, fishing cruives, Longannet freestone quarry, rope works, mill at Higgins Neuk on south shore, Kincardine Ferry, low and high water marks, roads and toll bar, pier on south shore, Newtown, manse and rivers noted. Adjacent estates and proprietors named including Captain Johnstone, Lord Dunmore, Lord Dundas, Lord Keith's Trustees, C Bruce and Robert Bruce. Cross-sections of proposed embankment on north shore [scales 1:120 and 1:240] of existing embankment north-west of Kincardine with same details. Coloured. Note. Multiple scale.
