Description |
'Lands of Torridon'. Lithographed by J Bartholomew, Edinburgh. Additions by Duncan Darroch in 1883. [1:31,700] 1 in = 4 furlongs 690x 520mm Plan coloured to show the land cultivated by crofters in 1873 and the additional land brought into cultivation by 1883. Crofting settlements of Allgin, Inver Allgin, West and East Corry, fasag, Annat, and Camustrole. Torridon House; all lochs including Upper Loch Torridon, Loch damh, Loch an Eoin and Loch Diabaigs Airde, streams, trees and roads noted. Table of contents. Multiple scale. Adjacent lands named. Relief by hachures. Endorsed 'Plan tinted to accompany return to Royal Commission Highlands and Islands 1883. Duncan Darroch.' |
