'Plan Of the Controverted Grounds betwixt Mr Thomas Buchan of Cairnbulg and Mr William Moir of Longmay.' By William Anderson. [1:1800] 1 inch = 2 Scottish chains. 355 x 485 mm. Ink and colour wash. Annotated in ink. Linen backing. Lands north of Whitecairn shown. Buildings in perspective and plan. Some land use indicated - cornland, green pasture, moss and enclosure. Notes relating to ownership of land and rights to peat. Parts of Cairnglass, Inverallochy and Cairnbulg Mosses shown. Compass rose. Note: 'Edinb[urgh] 10 July 1741 This is the plan to which the said interlocutor of this date ... (signed) Dun Forbes [James]'. |
