Sketch showing the proposed 'timber and strong net chain' breakwater, wharf, pier wall, stilling basin and internal linkage of old and new harbours. Existing harbour installations, castle, castle fort, battery, part of town of Dunbar, rocks and soundings taken at low water at spring tides noted. Coloured. Relief shown roughly by hachures. Note concerning consultation of Messrs Stevenson on linkage of old and new harbours. |
