'Sarclet harbour'. Unattributed. [1:720] 1 inch = 60 feet. 288 x402, on sheet 360 x 522 mm. Lithograph. Linen backing. Annotated in graphite. Plan showing a sloping breakwater, parapet, platform ofpier, and interior harbour, which is to be excavated to low water, spring tides. Sarclet Creek or outer basin, 'space to be sloped from Low to High Water level as a spending beach', width of harbour entrance, rocks, storehouse, cooperage and road noted. Cross-section of breakwater showing mode of construction, dimensions and high water mark. |
