'Plan of the Commonty of Cowie, with scheme of division'. By James Forbes Beattie, surveyor. Lithographed by Keith & Gibb, Aberdeen. 1 inch = 12 imperial chains. 624 x 726 mm. Hand coloured. Lithograph. Linen backing. [1:9800] 1 in = 12 Imperial chains. 548 x 653, on sheet 630 x 731 mm. Coloured. Lithograph. Linen backing. Plan of proposed scheme of division coloured to show the allotments, each of which is numbered to correspond to a table of contents which gives proprietors' names, including Captain Keith Murray, R Hepburn of Rickarton, Alex Baird of Ury, Dr Milne's trustees, Alex Innes of Cowie, Robert Duff of Fetteresso, Wm Forbes of Dunnottar and fourteen others with smaller shares. Total acreage given. Encroachments, mosses, wells, springs, streams, and roads noted. Adjacent farms, filed boundaries and estates noted. Relief by hachures. This is another copy of RHP4216, endorsed 'This is the plan referred to in my report of this date made in obedience to the remit contained in the Interlocuter of my Lord Jerviswoode Ordinary of the 9th Instant. J. F. B., Aberdeen, 12th July 1859'. |
