Description |
'Plan of the common in process of division at the instance of Dugald Gilchrist, Esq, of Ospisdale against George Dempster of Skibo shewing a scheme of division in terms of the Interlocutor of Charles Ross, Esq, Commissioner dated 5 June 1826'. Surveyed in Oct 1825 and divided in Nov 1829 by N Maclean, land surveyor, Inverness.

Plan of the scheme of division of common land shared by Mr Dempster of Skibo, Mr Gilchrist of Ospidale and Mr Houston of Creech. Coloured to show arable, meadow and hill pasture, units of which are numbered in reference 'to the general contents and valuation of the common'. Arbitrated boundary noted. Cottages, roads, streams and lochs of Migdale, a' Ghobair, an Laggan and Buidh noted. Relief by hachures. Adjacent lands and proprietors named including Lady Stafford and those who shared in the commonty. |
