(Two copies of) 'Plan of the Estate of Dirleton Belonging to William Hamilton Nisbet Esq'. By William Forrest, Edinburgh, surveyor.
1 inch = 5 chains. Each sheet 509 x 763 mm. Total plan size 2545 x 1526 mm. Photoreproduction. Two copies. Each copy dissected into 15 sheets.
Plan of the estate with fields marked and numberes. Villages named. Buildings marked with some named. Adjoining lands and landowners named. Pictorial elevations of ships in the Firth of Forth. Compass rose. Note: 'The Contents of Each Field are Calculated from the roots of the thorns or from the centre of the fences or boundaries. The public Roads are not included in the Survey. The Houses not belonging to Mr Hamilton Nisbet in the Village of Dirleton are coloured Blue. The different colours show the figure of the respective farms'. |
