'Plan of the runrigg lands of West Reston, done in obedience to an order of the Sheriffs of Berwickshire, in a process of division, from a survey taken in 1760'. By David Mather [1:3600] 1 inch = 4 Scottish chains. 1050 x 1040 mm.Ink and colourwash. Dissected into 2 sheets. Linen backing. Compass rose. Plan of infield-outfield lands of West Reston showing the rigs, parks and moors each with a number, acreage and proprietor's name. Superimposed coloured marches of proposed scheme of division, sometimes with acreages and proprietors including Sir James Home, John Hood and the York Buildings Company. Roads, rivers, steadings and cottages noted. |
